Strawberries sherbet
Ingredients:
2 lbs (1 kg) strawberries
1 orange
2 lemons
1 1/3 cups (300g) sugar for fruits or granulated
Mint leaves (or citronella)
Preparation:
Extract the juice from orange
and lemons.
Wash strawberries and remove leaves. (Reserve some for the decoration).
In a blender, put strawberries, juice and sugar and bring it
to a puree texture.
Pour it into an electric sherbet maker and put it in the refrigerator.
Then follow instructions from the sherbet maker manual.
If you don't have an electric sherbet maker, put preparation
in a metallic bowl and freeze it.
Make sure you stir well in 1 hour.
Half hour before serving the sherbet put it in the refrigerator
to soften it a little.
Scoop it in glasses, and decorate with the reserved strawberries
and mint leaves (or of citronella).
Serve immediately.
