Pumpkin pie
Ingredients:
Broken dough for 2 pie shells
2/3 cup (150 ml) sugar
1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
2 teaspoons (10 ml) flour
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) nutmeg
2 teaspoons (10 ml) honey (optional)
2 1/2 cups (625 ml) puree of pumpkin or Butternut
Preparation:
Preheat the oven in 190 °C
(375 °F).
Roll the dough on a dusted flour surface.
Put in a buttered pie dish.
Add one of the rolled dough.
Spread on the dough in successive rows, the third of each of
the following ingredients: sugar, soft brown sugar, flour, nutmeg
and honey.
Cover with half of the puree of pumpkin. Repeat operation.
Sprinkle the remaining ingredients.
Cover with second rolled-out dough.
Seal the edges of the dough.
Cook from 25 to 30 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.
