Halloween bars

Ingrédients:

¾ cup (175 ml) flour (all purpose)
1 teaspoon (5 ml) yeast
1/2 teaspoon (2 ml) salt
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) nutmeg 2 eggs 1 cup (250 ml) brown sugar 1 cup (250 ml) mashed pumpkin or mashed butternut
4 tablespoon (60 ml) vegetable oil
2 teaspoons (10 ml) orange rinds 1/2 teaspoon (2 ml) vanilla 1/2 cup (125 ml) raisins 1/2 cup (125 ml) chopped walnuts (optional)
2 cups (500 ml) chocolate chips

Préparation:

Preheat the oven in 175 °C (350 °F).

Mix all dry ingredients (first 5 on list), add raisins, nuts and half of chocolate chips.

In a big bowl, beat eggs with brown sugar.

Add mashed pumpkin or butternut, oil orange rinds and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients to mix all together.

Pour the mixture in a 9" square pan buttered and flour.

Bake 25 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle the cake with the rest of the chocolate chips.

When the chocolate chips starts to melt, spread it evenly on cake.

Cool off and cut in rectangular shape bars.
